Terms of Service
Effective 1 September 2026
These terms govern access to NamsNet Billing by an internet-service provider (ISP). By registering, starting a trial, or paying for a plan, the ISP accepts these terms.
Service
NamsNet provides billing, customer, payment, Hotspot, PPPoE and MikroTik management tools. The ISP remains responsible for its internet service, network equipment, customer contracts, regulatory obligations and the accuracy of data entered.
Accounts and security
Only authorised account owners may sign in. Account credentials must not be shared. The ISP must secure its routers and payment accounts and notify NamsNet through a support ticket of suspected unauthorised access.
Trials, subscriptions and payment
The free trial lasts 72 hours from activation and is available once per ISP. Operational access is restricted after expiry unless a paid plan is active. Plan limits, prices and expiry are shown before purchase. Successful subscription payments receive a downloadable receipt.
Acceptable use
The platform must not be used unlawfully, to access another ISP’s data, disrupt services, bypass plan limits, distribute malware or infringe third-party rights. NamsNet may restrict access needed to protect the platform or comply with law.
Data and third parties
Each ISP controls its customer data and must have a lawful basis to process it. M-Pesa, hosting, messaging and router services are provided by third parties under their own terms. See the Privacy Policy.
Availability and liability
NamsNet aims to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, especially where outages involve an ISP router, internet connection, payment provider or another third party. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted when a trial or subscription expires, payment is reversed, these terms are breached, or security requires immediate action. Data export should be completed before account closure where available.
Support and changes
Authenticated users should use the numbered support-ticket process in NamsNet. These terms may be updated when the service or law changes; the effective date will be revised.
These product terms should be reviewed by a qualified Kenyan legal adviser before commercial launch.
